- Do not post your advert twice on our board
If you want to update your advert, post the new advert on this thread with a link to your old advert, and a member of staff will update it for you.
Double posting will result in deletion of the second advert. Excessive double posting will result in both adverts deleted, and any adverts posted in the future deleted.
To check if your forum has been posted before, check our Directory.
- You must have a Guest Friendly Ad board
In order for your advertisement to stay on our forum, your forum must allow plugging, and must have a plugging board where guests can post. If we can not link back, your advertisement will be deleted. Feel free to post your advert again, once your boards are accessible.
- Do not stretch our board
The maximum width is 500 pixels and 600 pixels in height. If it exceeds the limit; the image will be removed.
- Abide by Proboards TOS
All forums that are advertised on RustyFox must abide by Proboards TOS. Any adverts to forums that do not follow these rules will be deleted and the IP of the poster will be banned. We will not risk our forum's safety because you want to break the rules.
Please note, this applies to Invisionfree and forums supported by other hosts as well.
- Place our button in the same place
In affiliates, put our button in the spot you want yours. I.e. If you want a static position, put our button in a static position as well. It's common curtsey, but it seems that we have to list it here.
- Bumping your thread
Do not bump your thread to get it at the top of the page. If witnessed doing this, we will delete your thread.
If we bump our thread on your board; then yes, you may bump your thread here. But if we do not bump our thread; then give us some respect and don't spam your bumps on our board, kay?
- Affiliates and activity
We are reasonable when it comes to affiliates. If your board has ten members, and only five log on every day, we won't take you down. However; if your board has eighty members with only a handful logging on each day, we will consider your board inactive and you will be taken off our affiliates. We will post on your board letting you know this, so you can take our affiliate down as well. Feel free to apply for affiliation again once activity picks up. If you have any issues with our decisions; post in the affiliation board.
- Affiliates Acceptance
We reserve the right to deny and affiliate for any reason we find acceptable. If you are a standing affiliate, and we remove your button, we will do our best to inform you that your button has been taken down so you may take ours down as well. For those applying to be an affiliate; if we find something disagreeable with your request, we will reply in the thread you posted that we rejected the application.
If that was too long; the summary of it is, we don't have to affiliate with you just because you applied.
- Static Affiliates
To be accepted for static affiliates; you must have at least fifteen members online daily. If you do not have that; feel free to apply for the scrolling or marquee positions. If you want a position change later on when you gain more members; feel free to reapply. If you do reapply; make sure you make it clear you are looking for a position change.
This applies for all forums of all types; not just role playing forums.
